Pies & Tarts


Cooking Club will celebrate Fall this month with a tribute to Pies & Tarts. Pies are so versatile; savory or sweet, filled with cream, fruit, cheese, vegetables, fish, poultry, or meat.  Pies come in many shapes and sizes: deep dish, free form, upside-down, skillet or handheld. Prepare a traditional recipe like French Tarte Tatin (pastry dough with caramelized apples), or Crostata (edible container such as hollowed out bread with a yummy filling), or Chicken Pot Pie (one or two crusts brimming with creamy chicken and veggies), or Turnovers (pastry dough filled, folded, baked or fried) or Angel Pies (crisp and dried meringue crust topped with sweetened fruit) or discover something new. 


So, let’s dive in and get creative. 


Join us on Thursday, October 10th from 7:15pm -9:00pm
