Welcome to the new cooking year. We start the 2025-26 season with a favorite theme, spa food or spa cuisine. *“Spa” refers to light, healthy meals focused on natural, fresh, and seasonal ingredients, prepared using methods like steaming or grilling to bring out inherent flavors. It emphasizes balance and nutrition, avoiding excessive fat, sugar, or processed ingredients, and can include items such as fresh fruit, colorful salads, lean proteins like fish and chicken, vegetable-focused dishes, whole grains, and fruit-infused water. The goal for each member is to prepare a delicious recipe that is both nutritious and healthy.

For our new members joining us for the first time in 2025-26, the members of the cooking club share a passion for food and cooking. Topics each month give us the opportunity to challenge ourselves by researching new recipes and creating new dishes. When we try and fail, we share what happened. We all learn from each other. Our conversations over shared meals are about the love of food and cooking. We strive to learn and grow as chefs and our monthly meals give us the opportunity to do just that! We do not impose any restrictions on recipe choices due to a member's special diet, allergies or dislikes. We ask that if a member brings a dish that you do not wish to eat, you simply enjoy the dishes made by others. There is always plenty.
