  American mahjong is a variant of the Chinese game mahjong. Mahjong is a tile based game of strategy and skill that is enormously popular. The goal of the game is to be the first, by picking and discarding, to match one's tiles to a specific hand from the annually distributed scorecard.

  We will be meeting at different members' homes twice a month  on Monday nights.

  For those who are comfortable we will be playing for money -  save your quarters and nickels.

  With the busy holiday season ahead, the Cooking Club has annually reserved December for a special cooking experience.  This year we are once again invited to join Chef Debra Rubel in an evening of cooking together. 

  The group will meet at the home of Chef Debra Rubel in Westport where we will prepare a meal together while learning a few cooking tips from our professional host. The cost is $75/per person paid directly to Chef Rubel. Spaces are limited.

  Bunco is a monthly Ladies event hosted by different club members each month. A fun evening of games, socializing, drinks and snacks.

  Join us for our new annual Yankee Swap! Bring one bottle of liquor nicely wrapped to swap—wine, cognac, champagne, vodka or rum, etc.  You will pick a random number and then we will begin the swap. Think White Elephant but with alcohol.

  Our host, Joanne Baird, will serve a light lunch of soup, salad, and rolls. Water, coffee, tea, and other beverages will also be served. Bring a dessert to share.

  Please let the hostess know of any food allergies.
